Calling all families to come celebration Earth Day! Join Growing Gardens right here in Boulder to celebrate Earth Day, today! Gather at the Children’s Peace Garden to join in a fun, interactive celebration intended to connect children and families to fresh food, local honeybees and healthy bodies. That’s a lot to accomplish, but leave it to the Growing Gardens people to make it happen. This event is free. Children’s Peace Garden is located at 1630 Hawthorn, Boulder.

Celebrate Winter: Story Time and Signs of Winter Children’s Hike
Story time with the City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks is back at the Chautauqua Ranger Cottage! Ring in the year with winter picture books. Children join in the fun with sound effects and the color of the week. Afterwards, if weather allows, you’ll take off for a kid-friendly hike. If it’s too cold to hike, we’ll explore the animals of the Ranger Cottage. Geared toward 3 to 6-year-olds. Wear warm clothes and bring water and a snack if you like. Free, 10:00 to 11:00am.
