Boulder Beer offers free 45-minute tours of their brewery. Boulder Beer, which bills itself as Colorado’s first microbrewery, produces some popular beers including Hazed & Infused and Singletrack. Ignite Boulder is similar to TED talks with a twist. It brings together some great local idea generators who get to make a presention on a subject of their choice. Speakers have exactly 5 minutes to teach something, enlighten us, or simply inspire — backed by 20 slides auto-advancing every 15 seconds. The more we head outdoors–and summer is right around the corner–the more we need to ensure we can take care of ourselves and navigation essential. Knowing how to use a GPS can ensure you know where you are in the city of in the vast wilderness. This is a 2 hour class which includes computers and maps. You need to pre-register. Calling all families to come celebration Earth Day! Join Growing Gardens right here in Boulder to celebrate Earth Day, today! Gather at the Children’s Peace Garden to join in a fun, interactive celebration intended to connect children and families to fresh food, local honeybees and healthy bodies. That’s a lot to accomplish, but leave it to the Growing Gardens people to make it happen. This event is free. Children’s Peace Garden is located at 1630 Hawthorn, Boulder.
