This year the Boulder USA Pro Cycling Challenge has added yet another element – a Kids Challenge! On August 24, 2014 kids 11 and under are invited to ride a portion of the race & get pumped! It’s time to register and learn more – here.
Open Arts Fest is an outdoor gallery of some of the best artists – local and from 30 states – happening July 19 & 20 on the Pearl Street Mall. Click here for a sneak peak of exhibiting artists. This is a free event and open to everyone!

In addition to artisan booths, Clementine Studio will host a kids’ art activity tent.
The dynamic duo of Jeff Kagan & Paige Doughty [with special guests] are bringing their children’s music scene back to Chautauqua. Take a short hike and then listen to nature focused music on the grass at Chautauqua. This is a fun kid-friendly evening focused on children ages 2 – 8. Free event, but bring a blanket and a picnic. Tomorrow, July 9, 2014, is Public Safety Day in Lafayette. Kids can enjoy a fun filled day hanging out with the Lafayette Police and Fire Departments! Included are police and fire equipment, fire trucks, police cars, police motorcycles and demonstrations of this cool equipment. Free hotdogs, swimming and community booths. Bring bicycles and helmets if you would like your kid to have a free bike safety course from police officers. More details here.

The Boulder Outdoor Cinema shows movies along with live music in the parking lot behind the Tea House. They show them all summer and it is a real blast! Boulder’s Annual Band on the Bricks line up is out! Starting tonight, June 11th, you will find live, free music, performed on the beautiful Pearl Street Mall on Wednesday nights throughout the summer. Head down to Pearl Street tonight and Wednesdays throughout the summer for the fun of it – 7 to 9pm.

The Jewish Festival is a celebration of Jewish culture, featuring live entertainment, fine art and Judaica, ethnic food, community organizations and activities for all ages.
