Get groovy at the Lyons Folks Festival starting today and lasting through the weekend. Lyons was hit hard by the flooding. The Folks Festival site was hit really hard – but they have fully rebounded and they are bringing our community another great festival to show it! The Louisville Street Faire is on and Friday evenings are just a bit better! Friday evenings throughout the summer, Louisville, CO comes alive with music, food, drink, dance and more. Visit the Street Faire and enjoy an evening away. There is still time to enjoy this summer time tradition!
The folks who run the Street Faire put it this way:
“For three or four hours, nine summertime friday evenings, life is just like it should be. Babies don’t cry, dogs don’t bark, and wise elders feel nineteen again. The Muse visits the musicians pretty much every night and dances when the spirit moves her. We don’t know why this all happens here, we’re just glad it does.”

Boulder Summer Games III: Games Super Finale featuring volleyball, dodgeball, and bocci ball is happening tonight [August 7, 6-8:30pm] at the Civic Center Park. Join BMoCA for the Summer Games Super Finale where the sports you know best take new shape. Volleyball and dodgeball will take place simultaneously on one court. Artist-designed chess tables will redefine the beloved classic. Bocci ball, cornhole, and croquet will inspire new experiences of the terrain in Civic Center Park.
