It Is Opening Weekend for the New Boulder Art Cinema!

It is the opening weekend for the brand new Boulder Art Cinema located at the Boulder Public Library’s Canyon Theater! Such wonderful news that we have a new artsy and independent theater in town!

The Boulder Art Cinema is a partnership between the Boulder Public Library and Downtown Boulder, Inc., aimed at activating the Library’s Canyon Theater and drawing visitors and residents downtown. The Cinema will show first-run, independent films Thursday through Saturday evenings.

The Boedecker Theater, Boulder’s art house cinema continues to build on its reputation as one of the leading arts cinemas in the country. Noted for programming excellence as well as diversity, The Boe has introduced Boulder to national art house special features, premier movies as part of the New York Film Critics national screenings, live opera and ballet performances streamed from around the world, and has participated in 22 cinema partnerships.
