What's Happening in Boulder County!
Open Arts Fest is an outdoor gallery of some of the best artists – local and from 30 states – happening July 19 & 20 on the Pearl Street Mall. Click here for a sneak peak of exhibiting artists. This is a free event and open to everyone!
Dates & Times – July 19 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and July 20 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
In addition to artisan booths, Clementine Studio will host a kids’ art activity tent.
The dynamic duo of Jeff Kagan & Paige Doughty [with special guests] are bringing their children’s music scene back to Chautauqua. Take a short hike and then listen to nature focused music on the grass at Chautauqua. This is a fun kid-friendly evening focused on children ages 2 – 8. Free event, but bring a blanket and a picnic. This spring snow makes me think about sledding. Boulder has some great options.
Check out these locations for some of the best sledding around:
Scott Carpenter Park: This is a mellow, fun slope for the kids, but adults enjoy it too!
Tantra Park [Just South of 46th and Hanover]: This sledding hill can get incredibly packed and at places it is steep.
Foothills Community Park: There are some great, low angle slopes here for kids and adults.

Leanin’ Tree Museum of Western Art offers one of the nations largest private collections of western art. There is also a beautiful outdoor sculpture garden. Open 360 days of the year.
