‘Provence to Lyons’ Flood Relief Benefit Dinner at Mateo Restaurant Tonight

‘Provence to Lyons’ Flood Relief Benefit Dinner at Mateo Restaurant (1837 Pearl St., Boulder, 303-443-7766) is tonight, October 2. Proceeds will go to benefit the citizens of lyons who have been displaced by the flood.

great_colorado_flood_reliefJoin some of Boulder’s powerhouse chefs and bartenders are coming together to create a seven course meal with cocktail and wine pairings. Among the participants are Nate Bychinski of Mateo, Kelly Whitaker of Basta, Will and Coral Frischkorn of Cured, Bryan Dayton of Oak at Fourteenth, and Brett ZImmerman of the Boulder Wine Merchant. Reservations for two seatings (6 p.m. and 9 p.m.) can be made by calling 303.443.7766. Cost is $150/person. A complimentary community table will be reserved for residents of Lyons for both seatings.

CU Presents Picnic, a Pulitzer Prize Winning Play

He saw success both in New York — actor Paul Newman made his Broadway debut in Picnic — and Hollywood, where the film version of the play won two Oscars in 1955. When you register for disaster assistance please have the following available:

  • Social Security Number (including spouse)
  • Private insurance information, if available
  • Address and zip code of the damaged property
  • Directions to the damaged home or property
  • Telephone number where FEMA can reach you

Dog Dayz Are Upon Us. Get your dog and play at the pool!

The pool closes for human usage and we open up the water for dogs to enjoy. The Dog Dayz event has been running strong for nearly a decade and saw close to 2,000 dogs come through the gate last year.
