Music Will Be Ringing From Boulder Parks Throughout the Summer!

Boulder Concert Band and Boulder Parks and Recreation Department collaborate again and provides our community with outstanding performances of traditional and modern concert music in the park throughout the summer and enriches the cultural experience of the audience and the musicians. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy the parks with your family! Mondays from 7 to 8pm.

The Boulder Phil Concludes Their Season In Grand Style. Join them!

Virtuosity abounds as the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra concludes their season in grand style. Nature and myth intermingle in Liadov’s misty painting of The Enchanted Lake. Then, dashing cellist Zuill Bailey shares his moving interpretation of Dvořák’s well-loved Cello Concerto. Finally, revel in the talents of the Phil musicians as they step to the fore in Bartók’s tour de force, the Concerto for Orchestra. These are free events. Enjoy drumming and singing at the “Songs of the Orishas” Afro Cuban drum and song concert at Canyon Theater, Boulder Main Library, by members of the Ezequiel Torres group. Miguel Angel López, from Guantanamo’s Danza Libre, guest drummer.

September 11-16 there will be entertainers, artists, and discussions about the crossroads of Latino culture and the environment. Take a short hike and then listen to nature focused music on the grass at Chautauqua. This is a fun kid-friendly evening focused on children ages 2 – 8. Free event, but bring a blanket and a picnic.
