The Boulder County Farmer’s Markets are going strong! Get your veggies and so much more every Saturday throughout the season in both Longmont and Boulder. If you haven’t been, or it’s been a long time, these farmer’s markets are well worth a visit!

Run! Run! Run! Hometown Festival’s 5K Walk is on September 5

The 7th Annual Hometown Festival 5K is happening on September 5, 2016. This is a featured event at the 18th Annual Boulder Creek Hometown Festival. The 5K walk will target families and individuals who are inspired be physically active while enjoying time together in beautiful downtown Boulder.

The 5K walk will begin at 9am on Monday, Sept. 5th, 2016 on the Boulder Municipal lawn and will be an out-and-back course on the Boulder Creek Path. Participants will gather and end at the Boulder Creek Hometown Fest Sports & Kids’ Expo, an event area on the Municipal Building lawn consisting of various organizations, services and equipment geared toward Boulder’s active, fitness-oriented community. There is a family and kid event.

  • Packet pickup will be from 8am-9am on Monday, Sept. 5th

  • 5k Race at 9:00am  $25.00

  • Kids Races 9:45am  $10

This event features arts & crafts exhibitors in Central Park, live performances at the Bandshell, the Hometown Fest 5K, an interactive kids & sports expo, a food court & beer garden, and much more! Don’t miss out on the festivities of this community event each Labor Day weekend, September 3-5, 2016.

All Aboard the TEBO Train!

tebotrain“All Aboard!”  Calling all kiddos, enjoy a free ride on Pearl Street Mall’s one-and-only Tebo Train! Children ages 10 and under (and accompanying adults) will chug along the beautiful Pearl Street Mall on the only set of wheels permitted “on the bricks”!  The Tebo Train runs Mondays – Thursdays from May 28 – August 29, 2016. Board the train between 10 – 11:15 am in front of Wells Frago Bank at the corner of 12th and Pearl Street. More information on this fun summer event – here.

It’s splendor and story speak for themselves any time the Boulder Dushanbe Tea House is open. Take a look, drink some tea, or have a full meal. This Downtown Boulder gem is a must see in Boulder!
