The Boulder History Museum is offering a sneak preview of their upcoming exhibit, Beer: Boulder History on Tap. Discover the evolution of brewing in Boulder County from the late 1800s through decades of prohibition and the emergence of Colorado as a center of brewing excellence. Boulder’s booming craft brewing industry is phenomenal.

Hosea Rosenberg has been an instrumental part of Boulder’s restaurant revolution. He earned national fame as the winner of the fifth season of “Top Chef,” Bravo’s cooking competition television show. Join the CU Art Museum for the opening reception for their newest exhibit, From Cherry Blossoms to Snow Gardens. This is an amazing exhibit featuring woodblock prints by famed ukiyo-e masters of the 19th century including Utagawa Hiroshige, Utagawa Kunisada, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, and Katsushika Hokusai. These artists documented the everyday life of Edo (present day Tokyo) through vibrant images of landscape, travel, commerce, and leisure. Boulder’s National Center for Atmospheric Research’s visitor center is open for guided and self-guided tours 363 days of the year. This iconic building sits atop a mesa overlooking Boulder. The site is beautiful and offers easy hiking options and the visitor’s center offers visitors interactive learning opportunities. NCAR is open for visitors on weekdays 8:00am to 4:00pm and on weekends 9:00am to 5:00pm. Guided tours are offered M/W/F 12:00 to 1:00pm, but if you would rather a self-guided tour you can take an cell phone MP3 tour anytime. Kids and adults alike enjoy this site!
