Boulder’s National Center for Atmospheric Research’s visitor center is open for guided and self-guided tours 363 days of the year. This iconic building sits atop a mesa overlooking Boulder. The site is beautiful and offers easy hiking options and the visitor’s center offers visitors interactive learning opportunities. NCAR is open for visitors on weekdays 8:00am to 4:00pm and on weekends 9:00am to 5:00pm. Guided tours are offered M/W/F 12:00 to 1:00pm, but if you would rather a self-guided tour you can take an cell phone MP3 tour anytime. Kids and adults alike enjoy this site!
