Moovers and Shakers is an event not to be missed. Mixologists from some of Boulder’s finest establishments, including Black Cat, Frasca, The Kitchen, Oak, Qs, and Salt, will compete, making a new drink from locally distilled Sno Vodka. The event includes samples of the cocktails, a commemorative glass, food pairings from the restaurants, and the premiere of Hey Bartender, the story of the rebirth of the bartender and the comeback of the cocktail. Chautauqua Brings Boulder Another Season of Silent Film–Tonight’s Show is The Circus with Charlie Chaplin
The first silent film of the season is The Circus, starring Charlie Chaplin and featuring the recorded Chaplin soundtrack. Chaplin’s Tramp character finds himself at a circus where he is chased around by police who think he is a pickpocket. We are so lucky in Boulder to have the Boulder Creek running right through town. Hit some of the hot spots to go tubing, wading, swimming, kayaking, or just sit next to the water to enjoy the sights and sounds. To get the best access to Boulder Creek try Eben G. Fine Park at the West end of Arapahoe, park at the Boulder Public Library where you can walk right over to a beautiful shady spot near the creek, or find it anywhere along the bike path.

The Boulder Reservoir is one of the great water resources in our area. Enjoy a day at the beach, rent a stand up paddle board, get into a canoe, swim, or do it all! Bring a picnic or enjoy the concession stand. This is a popular destination so you won’t be alone. Bring the whole family! The Reservoir is open daily through the summer.
