Boulder Public Libraries Are Open!
All Boulder Public Libraries are open, except George Reynolds which will be closed into November because of flood damages. If you have not explored Boulder’s amazing library system yet, it may be time. You can find a great book. Get online. Enjoy some peaceful browsing of the magazines. Do some research. It is up to you. If you recently sustained any loss or damage due to severe storms, flooding, landslides and/or mudslides, you may be eligible for disaster aid. To register, call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or fill out an online application at http://disasterassistance.govÂ
When you register for disaster assistance please have the following available:
- Social Security Number (including spouse)
- Private insurance information, if available
- Address and zip code of the damaged property
- Directions to the damaged home or property
- Telephone number where FEMA can reach you

Dog Dayz Are Upon Us. Get your dog and play at the pool!
September 16, 2013 starts Dog Dayz at Scott Carpenter Pool turns into an aquatic dog park for two weeks in September. The pool closes for human usage and we open up the water for dogs to enjoy. The Dog Dayz event has been running strong for nearly a decade and saw close to 2,000 dogs come through the gate last year. It is a great way to spend a warm afternoon with your best friend — your dog (or dogs) will be grateful for the chance to cool off and play with others. More info on Dog Dayz right here.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
