The City of Boulder has launched the Boulder Housing Survey. They are reaching out to residents to get our input on the future of housing in Boulder. Have your voice heard! Boulder County is offering their Roadmap to Recovery™ Workshop on Feb. 4, 2014. This workshop is focuses on insurance and the recovery from the floods. Attendees will hear from a United Policyholders staff member and a flood damage expert on insurance matters. If you are struggling with your insurance company over flood claims or just want to make sure you are getting everything you deserve, this free workshop can help.

In 2009, during Boulder’s 150th Anniversary, a group of artists and historians created The Ditch Project to celebrate 150 years of Boulder’s irrigation history. They found historic images of Boulder’s ditches and took contemporary photographs from the same locations. Thus evolved the exhibit, Boulder County Ditches: Then & Now. The exhibit is open during normal museum hours through April 13, 2014. More information on The Ditch Project here.
Boulder made it on the list of top foodie cities–again! Forbes named Boulder one of the Top 5 Secret Foodie Cities on their travel blog. I think we can start blushing now. But truth be told Boulder does have some amazing food here. Top chefs. And foodies not only delight in amazing meals in the City of Boulder. The surrounding areas are starting to offer amazing meals for the foodies among us.

Celebrate MLK Day in Boulder today by heading to Downtown for a full slate of events including arts, a march, and much, much more. Start at 11am in front of the Boulder County Courthouse on the Pearl Street Mall for music, art, & poetry. At 12:30 march from the Boulder County Courthouse to the UMC at CU to commemorate the life of MLK.
