What's Happening in Boulder County!
Spring is the beginning of so many new things–garden planting, repairing buildings, bringing baby animals into the world– and that was true for ranch families in the Victorian days also. Join costumed volunteers at Walker Ranch homestead for a peek into pioneer living in springtime. Join Boulder County Open Space to learn more about what the pioneer days were like at the beautiful Walker Ranch. Pioneer settlers had a lot to do preparing for and surviving Colorado’s long winters. Learn about typical winter chores when you explore the Walker Ranch Homestead. Take a tour, explore on your own, and maybe taste a treat from the past. Free and appropriate for all ages.
