Who doesn’t love an evening of live music on a cool evening? We know our fellow Boulderites love summer music, gathering with family and friends, and just enjoying a summer evening together! All these concert series are free and family-friendly. Here is to a great summer!

 

  • Bands on the Bricks: Live music and beer garden Wednesday nights on the Pearl Street Mall in Downtown, Boulder, CO. Starting June 10, 2015, 5:30pm throughout the summer. See a full line up – HERE

Summer Festival at the Boulder Public Library

It is festival season and the Summer Festival at the Boulder Public Library is this weekend! Join other families for this fun celebration of summer on June 6, 2015 from 1 to 5pm at the Main Library, Canyon Theater

Summer festival includes an afternoon of hands-on activities designed to be nature-inspired, educational, and fun for all ages! Magic show with Erica Sodos, music with Amelie Trio, DJ Drake, and Jeff & Paige. Drum workshops, stilt walking lessons, STEAM activities, Nature Play, photo booth, bubbles, ice-cream and much more with Coder Dojo, CU Science Discovery, CU Museum of Natural History and BMoCA.

1-2 Jeff & Paige
1:30-2:30 Magic Show with Erica Sodos
2 & 3pm Drumming workshop
2:15-3:15 DJ Drake
3:15-4 Trio Amelie

The Music Is Back In Louisville! It’s Almost Street Faire Time…

The Louisville, CO Street Faire starts June 12! Friday evenings throughout the summer, Louisville, CO comes alive with music, food, drink, dance and more. Visit the Street Faire and enjoy an evening away. The live music is free.

The folks who run the Street Faire put it this way:

“For three or four hours, nine summertime friday evenings, life is just like it should be. Babies don’t cry, dogs don’t bark, and wise elders feel nineteen again. The Muse visits the musicians pretty much every night and dances when the spirit moves her. We don’t know why this all happens here, we’re just glad it does.”

Are you curious how they tape live radio shows? eTown – a nationally syndicated live radio program is taped right here in Boulder at their own eTown Hall. The acts they bring in are amazing and the tickets are reasonably priced. This is not a full concert but rather a live musical experience.
