We are lucky in Boulder that we have Celestial Seasonings right in our backyard. You probably already know the teas are delicious! But did you know their factory is open for tours? They offer 45 minute tours seven days a week, every hour, on the hour. No need to make a reservation [except during holidays]. Tour hours: Monday through Saturday, 10:00am to 4:00pm and Sunday, 11:00am to 3:00pm. The tours are family friendly, so bring the kids! Get a taste of contemporary art at BMoCA. Their ever changing exhibits are a feast for you eyes. They make you think and wonder. Wednesday evening are a great time to take a stroll into BMoCA and explore local and national artists and exhibits. BMoCA is located at 1750 13th Street, Boulder. Get Ready, Get Set, The Tulip Bulb Giveaway Is August 8th!
The City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department’s annual tulip bulb giveaway will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 on the 1300 block of the Pearl Street Mall (in front of the Boulder County Courthouse). There will be 320 bags of tulip bulbs available, and the bulbs are given away first come, first served.

Hard to Recycle Goods & Electronics: Drop them at Whole Foods!
We can no longer dispose of electronics in the landfill! As of July 1, 2013 it is this is the law in Boulder. So what can you do with those unwanted electronics? Bring them to Whole Foods on Baseline [1st Sunday of the month] or in Superior [4th Sunday of the month] from 10am to 2pm to dispose of them responsibly.
