4th of July Celebrations Around Boulder!

Boulder Concert Band on the Green: First, check out Chautauqua in the morning to celebrate their 120th Anniversary with Boulder Concert Band on the Green at 10 am.

4th on Pearl: Next, head back downtown in time for lunch and 4th on Pearl from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with music starting at 1:00 pm (see below for schedule).  There will be activities and an extended beer garden on the 1300 Block of Pearl Street and the Boulder County Courthouse Lawn.

Ralphie’s Independence Day: Lastly, Hazel Miller wraps up just in time to catch Ralphie’s Independence Day Blast at Folsom Field.

Boulder County 4th of July Events

Boulder County 4th of July Events*

Boulder – University of Colorado’s buffalo mascot Ralphie will host the annual Independence Day Blast at Folsom Field. This is an evening event.

Longmont – Start the celebration early with a free 11 a.m. concert at Thompson Park. It features the Longmont Youth Symphony, Longmont Chorale and Longmont Symphony. The party in the park will be followed by fireworks launched from the Boulder County Fairgrounds.

Loveland – Celebrate Independence Day in Loveland at North Lake Park. At 8 p.m. they will feature tunes from the Loveland Concert Band at the outdoor amphitheater. The party will feature various vendor booths, a vintage car show and a fireworks spectacle.

Lafayette – Chris Daniels and the Kings will provide the dance tunes while kids can enjoy activities and adults can enjoy the food and beer, followed by fireworks over Waneka Lake.

The Boulder Rez’s Star Spangled Splash Is On Again This Year!

On the 4th of July the Boulder Rez will be hopping! Join in the City of Boulder’s Star Spangled Splash July 2 – 4, 2016 from 10am to 4pm. Fun for the whole family! Enjoy a day at Boulder’s largest “beach”. Here’s a sample of what’s going on this July 4th at the Rez:

  • Carnival rides
  • Games and treats for the entire family
  • Beer garden ($4 beers from Boulder Beer. Private alcohol not permitted at the Reservoir on 4th of July weekend.)
  • Free hydro bikes, paddleboard and water slide to keep you cool!
  • BBSC Endurance Sports will host a 5k and 10k Run on Monday July, 4.  For more information visit www.bbscrun.com.
