Nature For Kids + Parents

The City of Boulder offers excellent programs for families! These programs are offered on a regular basis and help us all to learn more about the environment around us.

On the last day of the year get outside with your kids to learn more about the critters that live all around us. They get to be detectives as you look for signs of tracks and learn the stories of these animals. This tracking program is on December 31, 2014. Learn more HERE.

CU-Boulder and the City of Boulder Working Together in Effort to Mitigate Flooding!

Where Can A Boulder Dog Take A Swim? Calling All Boulder Dogs! Dog Dayz @ Scott Carpenter Pool Are Almost Over

This is the time when the City of Boulder turns into an aquatic dog park for two weeks. The pool closes for human usage and we open up the water for dogs to enjoy. The Dog Dayz event has been running strong for nearly a decade! It is a great way to spend a warm afternoon with your best friend — your dog (or dogs) will be grateful for the chance to cool off and play with others. More info on Dog Dayz right here.

Annual Firehouse Pottery Sale – 9/6 and 9/7

Of course there is lots of beautiful pottery but there are other arts and artists represented too. Don’t Miss ‘The Star Spangled Splash’ at the Boulder Reservoir on the 4th of July

Live music, family events, a beer garden, youth games and prizes, sailing, and much more! The Reservoir is open from 5:30am to 6pm and all events happen within this time frame.
