Open Arts Fest is an outdoor gallery of some of the best artists – local and from 30 states – happening July 19 & 20 on the Pearl Street Mall. Click here for a sneak peak of exhibiting artists. This is a free event and open to everyone!

In addition to artisan booths, Clementine Studio will host a kids’ art activity tent.
Art On The Street – in Lafayette, Colorado – has posted a See & Respond calling for artists and poets. Poets and 2-D artists of all kinds are invited. There are categories for all ages – kids, teens and adults. This is a public, juried show and submissions must be appropriate for all ages. There are also cash prizes. Boulder Arts Week and BMoCA are calling for art submissions from 7th – 12th graders. This is part of the larger Boulder Arts Week event. Know a budding artist? Let them know to get their works of art in by March 20, 2014 if they want to take part.

NCAR offers a stunning palette for artists to display their work. Through March 29, 2014, Boulder, Colorado artist Jan Burch’s large scale oil paintings featuring macro views of natural subject matter will be displayed. Interpretations of light and the emotion of time are featured in her signature work.
The NCAR gallery is free and open M-F 8am to 5pm and weekends 9am to 4pm.
