Check out these locations for some of the best sledding around town:
Scott Carpenter Park: This is a mellow, fun slope for the kids, but adults enjoy it too!
Tantra Park [Just South of 46th and Hanover]: This sledding hill can get incredibly packed and at places it is steep.
Foothills Community Park: There are some great, low angle slopes here for kids and adults.
Nextdoor is a relatively new, free service that connects neighbors via social networking. It’s an easy way for you and your neighbors to be more organized, talk online, collaborate on projects, get resources, and share information. The best part is it’s free and it works!
Need a babysitter? Lost your dog? Want to find a reliable plumber? Need help moving? These are all topics relevant to your neighborhood and happen on Nextdoor.  Check out if your neighborhood is already hooked into Nextdoor by heading to www.nextdoor.com

It’s already started! September 15, 2014 starts Dog Dayz at Scott Carpenter Pool. This is the time when the City of Boulder turns into an aquatic dog park for two weeks. The pool closes for human usage and we open up the water for dogs to enjoy. The Dog Dayz event has been running strong for nearly a decade! It is a great way to spend a warm afternoon with your best friend — your dog (or dogs) will be grateful for the chance to cool off and play with others. More info on Dog Dayz right here.
