The TEBO Train Is In Town! It’s A Summer Thing and Won’t Last Much Longer!
The TEBO train has spent the summer on the Pearl Street Mall delighting children and their families with free train rides. But this is the last week to enjoy the ride! Come take a ride Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00am to 11:15am on the corner of 12th & Pearl Street. If you have young kids this is not to be missed! The last day is August 29, 2013.
This Is The Night You Have Been Waiting For: Flick And Float
“Flick And Float” is a Boulder tradition! Head to Scott Carpenter Pool for an end of summer celebration. What do you get to do? Watch the movie E.T. while floating in the pool! Family open swim will begin at 7 p.m. and the movie will begin at dusk (around 8:30 p.m.). $5/person or $20/family of 5.

The Boulder County Fair runs August 2 through August 11, 2013. Yippee for the Fair! Come pet some animals, watch a rodeo, ride some rides, and eat some fair food. Sounds like a fun day [or 2] to me. Boulder Outdoor Cinema Puts the Fun Back Into Movie Going!
The Boulder Outdoor Cinema takes over a Downtown Boulder parking lot [behind the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art] each summer on Saturdays to show us some classic films. This is not your usual film festival. Bring a lawn chair, a picnic, even the kids [for some shows], and enjoy a fun evening watching a movie under the stars. They even throw in an opening band. The Summer Heritage Evening at Walker Ranch offers a glimps into the life of homesteaders in our area.
