What's Happening in Boulder County!
This weekend you can find makers of all sorts selling their wares at the Autumn Firefly Handmade event at 29th Street Mall in Boulder, CO. You won’t find anything mass produced here. Instead you will find your neighbors and other creative types selling their handmade arts, crafts and goods. It is worth a trip! The Autumn Firefly is Saturday and Sunday at 29th Street Mall. The Boulder Public Library offers tons of events and activities for families! One of those is their weekly Creekwalk Storytime. If you have young children [5 and under] then take an hour to walk along the creek and hear delightful stories. Start at the main library in the children’s area – 10:15 to 11:00am. The TEBO train spends the summer on the Pearl Street Mall delighting children and their families with free train rides. Come take a ride Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00am to 11:15am on the corner of 12th & Pearl Street. If you have young kids this is not to be missed! More details here.

If your family wants to join in the fun then it’s time to register because this event is August 9, 2014 at 7:45pm. Don’t miss out on the fun starting and ending at North Boulder Park. The Town of Superior is inviting everyone to celebrate a night out against crime tonight – August 5 from 6 to 9pm. This is a fun night with a carnival feeling so watch for skydivers, demonstrations from fire, bomb squads, K9 teams and much more. Enjoy food & dessert – so come hungry. Kids can enjoy a bouncy house and games.
