A Hometown Fair original! Children of all ages design and decorate giant zucchinis—complete with wheels—and race their creations down the Great Zucchini Race ramp. Winners in each heat receive a prize! Check out this fun event all weekend long from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Children’s Area at the Hometown Fest (on the Boulder Municipal Building lawn).

The 14th Annual Lafayette Peach Festival is sure to be delicious! The Boulder County Fair runs August 2 through August 11, 2013. Yippee for the Fair! Come pet some animals, watch a rodeo, ride some rides, and eat some fair food. Sounds like a fun day [or 2] to me.
