Americas Latino Eco Festival Is @ The Dairy Center for the Arts
Boulder is hosting to the largest Latino-themed environmental festival in the nation! September 11-16 there will be entertainers, artists, and discussions about the crossroads of Latino culture and the environment. Boulder’s 2013 Floods – The What and Why of Forecasting a Record Flood
The 1 year anniversary of the Boulder Floods is almost upon us. The Boulder History Museum is hosting an evening with Ms. Nexette Rydell, Meteorologist in charge of the National Weather Service, Boulder office, will speak about weather predictions and the 2013 flood on September 9, 2014. Talk starts at 7pm and will be 45 minutes with 15 minutes Q & A at the end. Doors will open at 5pm so attendees may enjoy the display, Flood Reflections…One Year Later. Volunteers Needed at Valmont City Park!
Valmont City Park needs volunteers to help get it ready for upcoming events! They need people who can help today, 9/6/14 between 9 and noon. No registration is required and there are no age restrictions, however children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and wear closed-toe shoes. Meet at the pavilion in the park’s plaza, 3160 Airport Road. Volunteers will receive one free pass to the Boulder Reservoir.

Annual Firehouse Pottery Sale – 9/6 and 9/7
The Firehouse is the City of Boulder’s pottery studio and they are hosting their annual pottery sale. Of course there is lots of beautiful pottery but there are other arts and artists represented too. Boulder Creek Hometown Festival’s Final Day!
This is the last day of the Boulder Creek Hometown Festival. This is the perfect bookend to close out the summer event season in downtown Boulder. The festival features over 100 arts & crafts exhibitors in Central Park and on the Boulder Public Library lawn along the creek, great live performances at the Bandshell, an interactive Sports & Kids Expo, the 5th Annual Family Fun & Fitness 5K, food court & beer garden, the infamous Chili Inferno Cook-Off, Classic Car Show, and an entire children’s area with carnival rides and exhibitors, the Great Zucchini Race, Big Wheel 300 races, and much more!
