The Art of Origami Unfolds at the Longmont Museum: Catch this installation before it is gone May 1, 2016

The art of origami unfolds at the Longmont Museum and Cultural Center’s exhibit – Above the Fold: New Expressions in Origami. This is the first traveling exhibition of origami installations brought to an American audience. Creations from around the world will be on display at the Longmont Museum & Cultural Center showcasing beautiful paper sculptures now through May 1, 2016.

Origami is derived from the Japanese, ori (folding) + kami (paper), and serves as an art form that has been handed down for generations. The origins of origami are unknown, however the Japanese are credited with its creation.

FarmFest Is Awesome at Sunflower Farm!

Sunflower Farm is a very special farm located in Longmont, Colorado that is fun for the whole family, but especially the kids! Weekdays into December, Sunflower Farm is opening it’s property up from 9-1pm for your family to experience rural life, run, jump, play, connect with the animals, and just explore together. Historically Low Housing Inventory In The Sub-$250,000 Market In Boulder County

It is no secret that the housing market is booming. The flip side is that Boulder County currently has a historically low number of affordable homes priced under $250,000. Longmont, Colorado has the best inventory of very affordable homes in Boulder County.

Rhythm on the River Brings 20 Years of Music, Art and Entertainment to Longmont

Rhythm on the River Celebrates 20 Years of Music, Art, and the Environment. Located in Longmont’sRoger’s Grove Park, the annual summer festival, Rhythm on the River, began in 1995 as a small event for the opening of Roger’s Grove Park along the St. Vrain Greenway. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Rhythm is back this year with many exciting activities July 10 & 11.
