Men’s Journal named Boulder Creek to it’s list of the Top 10 Best Lazy Rivers in the U.S. I guess they didn’t see it earlier this year when it was anything but lazy! Anyways, it’s not too late to enjoy this awesome Boulder resource. Go jump in the creek! Go float down the creek! Enjoy it while it’s still hot out.

Boulder Summer Games III: Games Super Finale featuring volleyball, dodgeball, and bocci ball is happening tonight [August 7, 6-8:30pm] at the Civic Center Park. Join BMoCA for the Summer Games Super Finale where the sports you know best take new shape. Volleyball and dodgeball will take place simultaneously on one court. Artist-designed chess tables will redefine the beloved classic. Bocci ball, cornhole, and croquet will inspire new experiences of the terrain in Civic Center Park. Starting July 12, 2104, the Boulder Outdoor Cinema takes over a Downtown Boulder parking lot [behind the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art] each summer on Saturdays to show us some classic films. This is not your usual film festival. Bring a lawn chair, a picnic, even the kids [for some shows], and enjoy a fun evening watching a movie under the stars. They even throw in an opening band.
