It’s already started! September 15, 2014 starts Dog Dayz at Scott Carpenter Pool. This is the time when the City of Boulder turns into an aquatic dog park for two weeks. The pool closes for human usage and we open up the water for dogs to enjoy. The Dog Dayz event has been running strong for nearly a decade! It is a great way to spend a warm afternoon with your best friend — your dog (or dogs) will be grateful for the chance to cool off and play with others. More info on Dog Dayz right here.
The Boulder Public Library offers tons of events and activities for families! One of those is their weekly Creekwalk Storytime. If you have young children [5 and under] then take an hour to walk along the creek and hear delightful stories. Start at the main library in the children’s area – 10:15 to 11:00am.
