Volunteers Needed at Valmont City Park!
Valmont City Park needs volunteers to help get it ready for upcoming events! They need people who can help today, 9/6/14 between 9 and noon. No registration is required and there are no age restrictions, however children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and wear closed-toe shoes. Meet at the pavilion in the park’s plaza, 3160 Airport Road. Volunteers will receive one free pass to the Boulder Reservoir.

September = Dog Dayz. Get your dogs ready to play at the pool!
Dog Dayz is a Boulder special event so requires a plenty of warning! September 15, 2014 starts Dog Dayz at Scott Carpenter Pool. This is the time when the City of Boulder turns into an aquatic dog park for two weeks. The pool closes for human usage and we open up the water for dogs to enjoy. The Dog Dayz event has been running strong for nearly a decade! It is a great way to spend a warm afternoon with your best friend — your dog (or dogs) will be grateful for the chance to cool off and play with others. More info on Dog Dayz right here.
