The historic Hotel Boulderado provides the perfect backdrop for the likes of James Bond. Enjoy dancing to two live bands at our New Year’s Eve James Bond Ball. Dressed in Black will be playing classic hits in the lobby from 8:30pm to 12:30am, and The Fever will be playing contemporary dance music in the Events Center of the North Wing from 9pm to 1am. Bring The Holidays To Life At The St Julien Hotel & Spa’s Gingerbread Teas!

A local holiday favorite, the family-friendly Gingerbread Teas feature teas by Tea Forté, as well as scones, tea sandwiches and petits fours. The adults are entertained by music performed by Grammy winning pianist Ralph Sharon and his trio while children, donning a chef’s hat and apron, enjoy the opportunity to decorate gingerbread cookies, aided by a St Julien chef. This is super cute! Gingerbread Teas are held every Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 22, at noon and 2 p.m. More information here.

Bike Art at The Dairy is Back!

Boulder is a bike town. No doubt. Now, Bike Art at the Dairy! returns through January 17, 2014 to feed our souls. From nearly 500 submitted works of art, they’ve selected 134 pieces by 94 artists from as far away as Hawaii and Alaska. Some of these artists have also provided miniature works, perfect for holiday gift-giving. Come check out the exhibit during open hours. More information here.

Stories On Stage: A Fun Making Merry Combination of Literature and Theater

Stories on Stage has renowned actors bring stories to life by combining literature with theater. Favorites Gabriella Cavallero, Jamie Horton, Randy Moore and Gary Grundei bring warmth to the season with classic holiday stories and songs in Making Merry. Cleo’s “Granny Dances” presents two free, 1 hour shows.  Storytelling,  music, dance & costumes drawn from holiday traditions around the world.  Great family event for all ages. Free in the Canyon Theater at the Boulder Public Library. Come early, limited seating. December 11, 2013 for 2 shows: 4pm and 6:30pm.
