Happy Earth Day! Interested in celebrating the earth and the stars? Join naturalist Dave Sutherland of Open Space and Mountain Parks for a trip to the stars with a telescope. There is a chance we may be able to pick out the polar caps of Mars, and watch the amazing dance of Jupiter’s four large moons. Then you will cruise around the sky to take in other deep sky wonders. BVSD has proclaimed April 22, 2014 – Bike to School Day. It also happens to be Earth Day! so make a plan to ditch the car and jump on your bike and head off to school or work on your own human power. Catch The Resonance Women’s Chorus Performing ‘Speechless’ Today
The Resonance Women’s Chorus performs Speechless tonight. Speechless presents 125 women singing beyond words, in sonic exploration of realms perhaps not reached by language. Architecture Matters Lecture Series Focuses on Landmarks of the Future Tonight
The Architecture Matters Lecture Series continues tonight [Wednesday, April 16, 2014] at 6:30 p.m. taking a look at “Landmarks of the Future.” This is a panel discussion of how Boulder’s contemporary architecture might be perceived in the future and which buildings may be landmarks in the coming decades and why. This is a free event at the Main Boulder Public Library Auditorium.

Calling All Fairies and Elves to the Downtown Boulder Tulip Fairy and Elf Festival
Spring is in the air and it brings many things to Boulder – this includes the much awaited Tulip Fairy and Elf Festival along the Pearl Street Mall. This is an annual family favorite! Join many pint-sized fairies and elves on April 27, 2014 as they usher in spring along the Pearl Street Mall. This event has performances, activities and a parade from 1:00 to 5:00pm.
