Colorado Shakespeare Festival Presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream

We are so lucky in Boulder to have the Colorado Shakespeare Festival right here on campus. Their first installment in a full summer of theater is A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Let this beloved comedy make you laugh as you sit outside at the Mary Rippon theater. Bring a picnic and eat on the lawn in front of the theater, where you will find costumed characters milling about. Runs June 8 through August 11, 2013. This event includes a car show, hot air balloon launch, food, crafts, performances and live music by the band, The Nacho Men, and fireworks. Balloon launch: Colorado National Golf Course on May 18 & 19 at 6am. Fireworks: May 18 at 9:15pm at Coal Creek Park. Car Show: Historic Downtown Erie on May 18, 9 to 3pm.
