Thousands gather on Boulder Creek’s shores to watch nearly 10,000 rubber ducks speed to the finish line. The Bolder Boulder Is In Town!

Even if you are not running you can still enjoy sideline entertainment and cheer on the over 50,000 people running this annual race. The race starts at 30th & Walnut Street and then winds its way through the streets of Boulder ending at the University of Colorado’s Folsom Field. More information can be found here.

Colorado Shakespeare Festival Presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream

midsummer'snightdreamWe are so lucky in Boulder to have the Colorado Shakespeare Festival right here on campus. Their first installment in a full summer of theater is A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Let this beloved comedy make you laugh as you sit outside at the Mary Rippon theater. Bring a picnic and eat on the lawn in front of the theater, where you will find costumed characters milling about. Head Out to Erie’s Town Fair and Balloon Festival

balloonsThe Erie Town Fair & Balloon Festival is today, May 18, 2013. This event includes a car show, hot air balloon launch, food, crafts, performances and live music by the band, The Nacho Men, and fireworks. Balloon launch: Colorado National Golf Course on May 18 & 19 at 6am. Fireworks: May 18 at 9:15pm at Coal Creek Park. Car Show: Historic Downtown Erie on May 18, 9 to 3pm.
