The master of ceremonies for the Downtown Boulder area is Downtown Boulder Inc [DBI]. If you want to catch an event, are wondering what is happening, need to find a restaurant, or want to find a business, turn to DBI.

Here is a sample list of what’s officially happening today on the Pearl Street Mall, Monday, August 19, 2013.  Of course you can always head down to Pearl Street to enjoy watching buskers, grab a cup of coffee, let the kids frolic on the play structures or in the pop fountain, people watch, and so much more!

May we suggest heading downtown, grabbing this week’s veggies and fruits, purchasing some delicious food, grabbing a drink and listening to live music? While you are at it, duck into the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art–it is free when the Market is on. It is certain to be a lovely night! Hours are 4:00 to 8:00pm.

The Bald Mountain Scenic Area which is 5 miles west of Boulder on Sunshine Canyon Drive. Join Boulder County volunteer naturalists for an evening of exploring Bald Mountain under cover of darkness. You will hike about one mile roundtrip on a moderately strenuous trail, enjoying the starlight, listening for night sounds, and learning about some of the nocturnal habits of the critters that live here. Bring water, closed-toe hiking shoes/boots, suitable clothing for the weather, a flashlight, and your night vision. All ages are welcome.  [August 13, 2013 . 8:30pm to 10:00pm]
