As of July 1, 2013 legislation bans Colorado residents from disposing of electronics in the landfill. E-waste is a growing problem because electronics contain dangerous toxins and when not disposed of sustainably they can cause serious problems down the road. But on the 1st Sunday of the month you can stop by Whole Foods on Baseline and Broadway [2584 Baseline Road, Boulder] or on the 4th Sunday of the month you can head to Whole Foods in Superior [303 Marshall Road] to recycle your used electronics. Most items are accepted for free, but some do have a small fee. Electronics recycling between 10am and 2pm.
