Oatmeal Festival: Good for the Heart and Stomach

This Saturday marks the 16th annual Lafayette Quaker Oatmeal Festival. With a 5k walk/run, oatmeal baking contest and health fair, it’s sure to be a fun time.

The hot oatmeal breakfast is accompanied by the world’s largest toppings bar from 7:30am – 12:30pm
at Pioneer Elementary, 101 East Baseline Road
Adults – $8  Youth 3-12/Senior 60+ – $6  2yr and under are free.

Boo at the Zoo

Octobe 29-30 brings us another year of Boo at the Zoo at the Denver Zoo.  Activities are free with zoo admission and are sure to please the whole family: creepy-crawlie animal demonstrations, many trick-r-treat stations and loads of entertainment throughout the zoo. Come on out and celebrate your Halloween with the animals at the zoo!

Munchkin Masquerade

Bring your little munchkins downtown to the Pearl Street Mall on Monday, October 31, 2011 for trick-r-treating from 2-5pm.  Local merchants give out all varieties of candy while your tot has a chance to show off their hero of the year.
