Free Day At National Parks
Saturday, September 29, 2012 is a free day at all National Parks as a part of National Public Lands Day. It’s a perfect time to check out the colorful trees of Rocky Mountain National Park!
It’s a Stampede!
This Friday is another fun Stampede! Come on out and show your support for CU and your team pride in this community tradition. Fans will cheer the Tebo vintage fire truck and watch the Golden Buffalo marching band as it performs for fans on the Pearl St Mall.

Scavenger Hunt!
Lafayette Quest is geared towards kids with the goal of encouraging healthy and fun activity! Teams of 2-4 will strategize their way through a traditional scavenger hunt by following clues, participating in healthy challenges, and utilizing smart phone technology. Teams will check in at activity/checkpoint stations and perform silly human tricks to receive clues to get them to the next station. QR codes hold the secret to extra points and additional clues. Prizes will be awarded to teams who finish first, accumulate the most points, and wear the best uniforms/costumes.
The Quest is this Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 9-11am starting and ending at the Bob L Burger Recreation Center. The registration fee is $20 per person with 100% of the proceeds going to youth scholarships at the rec center.

Streets of Green
Boulder Green Streets returns this Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 10am-4pm. This year there are 2 main centers for activity, the North Boulder Rec Center and the East End of Pearl St. and you can walk or ride your bike on a 3 mile car-free route between the two locations.

It’s time to get those kiddos signed up for fall classes through Boulder Parks and Recreation! Swimming, gymnastics, soccer, they have it all. There are classes for the adults too: golf, pottery, tennis – lots to choose!
