Join the City of Lafayette’s Eighth Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March for Peace and Celebration Tomorrow

mlkJoin hundreds of community members as they celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the City of Lafayette’s 8th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March for Peace and Celebration on Monday, January 21, 2013. The event will commence with a March for Peace at the northwest corner of W. Waneka Parkway and Public Road at 12:00 p.m. (The first 200 community members to arrive will receive a free event t-shirt!) Starting at 12:30 the event moves to Escuela Bilingue Pioneer (101 E. Baseline) for an afternoon celebration, free refreshments, live entertainment, poetry, and a keynote by local Hip-Hop artist and educator Molina Noon to 3pm More information on this event can be found here.

Holiday Market at BMOCA

Firefly HandmadeFirefly Handmade is hosting a holiday market this weekend at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art.

We are in the midst of Chanukah, the Jewish festival of lights. Boulder celebrates in style with a Menorah Lighting on Pearl Street Mall on December 11, 2012, 5:30pm on the 1300 block of Pearl Street (in front of the Courthouse).
