Bike to Work Day in Boulder Colorado is filled with fabulous events celebrating the bicycle! From 6:30 – 9am on June 27, 2012, more than 40 breakfast stations throughout town will be serving up free breakfast to those on bike and foot. Some breakfast stations will have mechanics on-site offering light tune-ups for breakfast station visitors. Check here for a full list of 2012 Breakfast Stations and find out which stations are offering Service Stations

Work from home? No matter, just trade in a car trip for a bike trip and register anyway. It counts!

Walk & Bike Month & Bike to Work Day is not just about biking to work, because some people just can’t do that. It is about choosing the best way to get around each time you leave the house. If you have to go to Erie, maybe you can only drive, but if you live a half a mile from the gym, try biking there next time.

Given all the personal, environmental and global impacts of private automobile use, it is now, more important than ever that Boulder maintain and build on its strong commitment to walking and biking! It starts with every person committing to walk or bike at least one day in June and letting our city government know that being able to walk and bike safely and easily in Boulder is part of what makes our town great!

HGTV offers 10 tips to make your home just a little more inviting to potential home buyers. With these quick and (mostly) inexpensive fixes, your home is likelier to sell when you need it to.

Outside: Buy a new “Welcome” mat, replace faded house numbers and spruce up the landscaping.

Inside: Clean until everything sparkles, from floor to ceiling fans. Clean off those counters and put out fresh flowers.

Good luck! And be sure to give me a call if you need a contractor to help you with those repairs.
