Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day

Saturday, October 6, 2012, Avid4 Adventure will provide FREE bike instruction at Valmont Bike Park in Boulder. The ride is part of a nationwide celebration known as Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, supported by the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA).

Register Now – It’s Free!  Instructional rides run all day but registration is required.

Avid4 Adventure has partnered with the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department and the Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance to bring you this event.

Today is the last Wednesday Farmer’s Market of the season so come on out to stock your freezer with fall produce and have one last dumpling dinner with Tres Pupusas.  Not that you can’t have pupusas for breakfast on one of the remaining Saturday markets too!

It’s that time of year:  pumpkin carving, corn mazes and hay rides. Cottonwood Farms is just East of Boulder on 75th & Arapahoe.  They offer a day at their farm where you can pick your own pumpkin, check out the farm animals and buy local organic produce.  Admission is free and they are open through October 31.
