Ice skating season is upon us and there are many places in the area where you can indulge your dreams of grace and agility!

This holiday season, Downtown Boulder has partnered with Meals on Wheels Boulder to bring the Festival of Trees downtown, now through Dec 18, 2012!
Look for amazingly decorated trees on display in downtown businesses. Each tree will be available to win through a raffle drawing.  Raffle tickets for each tree will be available ($5 each) on the Meals on Wheels Boulder website.
You can purchase raffle ticket(s) for a specific tree and/or for as many trees as you would like the chance to win.  The drawing will be held on December 18 at 3 p.m. and the winners will be notified by phone or email (you don’t need to be present to win).
Free Visits with Santa at the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center, Saturdays through December 22, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Saturdays and Sundays throughout December bring us a fun time at the St Julien Hotel with their annual gingerbread tea series. Â Bring in the kiddos for gingerbread cookie decorating and enjoy some tea and holiday music too.
A portion of the proceeds go to There with Care and there will be a collection box for essential items for families in need.
This Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 6pm, brings the 25th celebration of the Lights of December in Downtown Boulder.  Floats, marching bands, lit fire engines, holiday carolers and much more, including an appearance by the jolly old man himself – Santa Claus!
Don’t forget to support small business today on Small Business Saturday, a great opportunity to get 
everything on your holiday gift list! Â Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall is filled with independent retailers, from the Boulder Book Store to Momentum.
Santa also joins the crowd on the Mall at the Boulder Downtown Visitor’s Information Center.  Until Christmas Day, Santa will be at this location every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m
