All Boulder Public Libraries are open, except George Reynolds which will be closed into November because of flood damages. If you have not explored Boulder’s amazing library system yet, it may be time. You can find a great book. Get online. Enjoy some peaceful browsing of the magazines. Do some research. It is up to you. The Stampedes start at 7 p.m. in front of the Boulder County Court House on the 1300 block of Pearl Street. The Stampedes’ finales take place in the parking lot at 10th & Pearl streets. It’s FREE and fun for the whole family. This is a great opportunity to cheer on your favorite Buffaloes and listen to the traditional sounds of the Golden Buffalo Marching Band!

Get a taste of contemporary art at BMoCA. Their ever changing exhibits are a feast for you eyes. They make you think and wonder. Wednesday evening are a great time to take a stroll into BMoCA and explore local and national artists and exhibits. BMoCA is located at 1750 13th Street, Boulder. The Great Zucchini Race Is A Hometown Classic
A Hometown Fair original! Children of all ages design and decorate giant zucchinis—complete with wheels—and race their creations down the Great Zucchini Race ramp. Winners in each heat receive a prize! Check out this fun event all weekend long from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Children’s Area at the Hometown Fest (on the Boulder Municipal Building lawn).
