Thinking of a Farm Share for 2012?

We know eating our fruits and veggies are good for us but it can be hard to shop for and prepare them.  One convenient alternative to doing the shopping yourself is joining a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture).  They deliver a “share” of produce each week (or every other week, depending on the CSA) to a location near you.  Just Google your city along with the term farm share for a location near you in the Boulder/Lafayette/Louisville area.

While this event is sold out, if you’re a cyclist, the Colorado Bike Summit is something to keep your eye on for news during and after the event.  This event brings together advocates and leaders of both on-and-off road enthusiasts, from commuters to serious professionals. Tune in for better bicycling!

BIFF 2012

Get your tickets soon for the Boulder Film Festival.  These events usually sell out so be warned!  I know I’m psyched for celebrity sightings with stars like William H Macy and Martin Sheen in attendance.  So mark these dates on your calendar: February 16-19, 2012.

Old Town Cinema Welcomes Boulder Film Festival Screening

Old Town Cinema in Louisville is offering a special screening of the documentary Racing Dreams, a coming of age story about Kart racing with NASCAR dreams.  It’s a pretty good deal for dinner (Pica’s Taqueria) and a movie at $15.  The event takes place on February 4 at the Louisville Center for the Arts.
