Boulder Flood Survey: How were you impacted?
September 2013 brought unprecedented rainfall to our region, causing significant flooding and extensive damage to both
private property and public infrastructure. In response to this event, the City of Boulder is reviewing its flood management program and mitigation priorities and they need your help in identifying neighborhoods and areas in Boulder that were severely impacted by the recent flooding. They need residents’ help to understand which areas had the most flood damages. The survey is very short. Take the Boulder Flood Impact Survey!
Relax with Live Midday Music at the Boulder Public Library
The Boulder Public Library presents live musical performances at their Midday Music events. On February 12, 2014 join Jesse Manno (oud), Michael Stanwood (didgeridoo), James Hoskins (cello), Brett Bowen (percussion), Dexter Payne
(woodwinds) and Jenna Woods (zils), for an hour of beautifully improvised music at the Boulder Public Library. Noon to 1pm in the Canyon Theater at the Boulder Public Library. More information here.
Boulder History Museum Shares the Ditch Project: A History of Boulder’s Ditches
In 2009, during Boulder’s 150th Anniversary, a group of artists and historians created The Ditch Project to celebrate 150 years of Boulder’s irrigation history. The Boulder History Museum is hosting an exhibit of historic images of Boulder’s ditches as well as contemporary photographs from the same locations. Thus evolved the exhibit, Boulder County Ditches: Then & Now. The exhibit is open during normal museum hours through April 13, 2014.
