January is Radon Action Month. The Center for Resource Conservation is offering radon testing kits at reasonable prices if you want to test your home for this naturally occurring gas.
Testing for radon is a simple and inexpensive. Any home in any area can have a radon problem.
You can test for radon yourself:
Do-it-yourself kits allow you to test your home radon levels yourself. Test kits can be purchased, at most local hardware stores or from online retailers or locally at the Center for ReSource Conservation.
