Join the Town of Superior and Racing Underground on Sunday, December 13th at 9 a.m. for a fun and festive, family-friendly 5K run and walk in Superior. Your entry fee includes entry into the race, a Stocking Run technical running shirt, fun music, post-race munchies and entry into Racing Underground’s sponsor merchandise drawing. Entrants will also receive a red felt stocking full of sponsor goodies! How fun is that!!!
The Superior Stocking Run starts and finishes at Purple Park. Runners will depart the start line on Rock Creek Parkway and enjoy a fast gradual downhill opening mile. The course then follows Eldorado Drive to Pitkin then Heartstrong and back to Indiana before returning to Rock Creek Parkway for the final stretch run to the finish line. Traffic will temporarily shift to one side of Rock Creek Parkway during the race between Pitkin and Indiana. No other streets will be closed. Resident access to all neighborhood streets will be open at all times, with marshals helping guide vehicles and runners and walkers at each intersection.
