It’s not too soon to think about what the kiddo’s are doing for Thanksgiving break from school. Boulder Parks & Rec offers a variety of choices Nov 19- 21, 2012.
They also host a School Day Off Camp for Veteran’s Day, November 12!
It’s a great hit with loads of activities all day long.
Hotel Boulderado Hosts Holiday Teas
Join the Hotel Boulderado for a fancy tea party this holiday season. With traditional fare such as scones, petit fours and water cress sandwiches, this series of events truly embodies the spirit of the holidays. Check the website for dates and a full menu. Some teas will benefit area organizations such as Boulder Ballet and Children’s Hospital.

The big one for the kiddos is the Munchkin Masquerade: trick-r-treat on the Pearl St Mall from 2-5pm
For the bigger kids, Oak on Fourteenth is having spooky drink specials at the Monster Mash and Pizza Bash. The West End Tavern tells it is Zombie Central there today and The Kitchen [Next Door] has live music and 1/2 price Colorado Craft Beer Pitchers and wines.
Jeepers Creepers!
Ready to start your Halloween celebration a day early? Join naturalist Jennelle Freeston for a short evening hike for kids ages 4 and up, to explore a few critters and creatures like spiders, snakes, and bats that give people the willies. Trick or Treat Train
Colorado Railroad Museum once again hosts a trick or treat train event for the little ones today! Ride the train and pick up treats at special stops around Train Town. Fun for the whole family and plenty of photo ops! 
Munchkin Masquerade
Bring your little munchkins downtown to the Pearl Street Mall on Monday, October 31, 2012 for trick-r-treating from 2-5pm. Local merchants give out all
varieties of candy while your tot has a chance to show off their hero of the year.
Great Pumpkin Race
Get ready… Get set… Race those pumpkins! There they go – off down the lazy river in the Bob L Burger Rec Center in Lafayette, Colorado.
Anyone can enter, just stop by the front desk and purchase your pumpkin for $2.

South Boulder Rec Halloween Carnival
Costumes! Crafts! Prizes! The Halloween Carnival is 3 to 5 pm on Friday, Oct 26, 2012. See the South Boulder Recreation Center website for more info. 
Boo at the Zoo
October 27-28 brings us another year of Boo at the Zoo at the Denver Zoo. Activities are free with zoo admission and are sure to please the whole family: creepy-crawlie animal demonstrations, many trick-r-treat stations and loads of entertainment throughout the zoo. Come on out and celebrate your Halloween with the animals at the zoo!
