Join the CU Art Museum for the opening reception for their newest exhibit, From Cherry Blossoms to Snow Gardens. This is an amazing exhibit featuring woodblock prints by famed ukiyo-e masters of the 19th century including Utagawa Hiroshige, Utagawa Kunisada, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, and Katsushika Hokusai. These artists documented the everyday life of Edo (present day Tokyo) through vibrant images of landscape, travel, commerce, and leisure. Birds of Prey Driving Tour
Join Boulder County volunteer naturalists on February 9, 2013 for a driving tour of some of Boulder County’s best areas to view birds of prey, or raptors. In this driving tour you will learn about habitat and behavior of raptors as well as work on your observation and identification skills. Bring water, lunch or a snack, binoculars, spotting scopes, and a bird field guide if you have them.
