Get your tickets now for next week’s Nature Kids: Critters, crafts, songs and fun for kids who love the great outdoors. Brought to you by Chautauqua and the Thorne Ecological Institute, the event starts the Chautauqua Community House on May 2 at 10am.
The program is geared towards kids 3-5 years old and starts out with hands-on exploration stations:
1) Live Decomposers 2) Nature Art 3) Colorado Skulls and Pelts and 4) The Colorado Animal Cake Walk. Kids will investigate, explore and learn all at the same time.
Then, stick around for a 40-minute live-music concert with Jeff Kagan and Paige Doughty. Music is interactive and educational with a focus on Colorado wildlife, mountain ecosystems and appreciation for nature.
